REPORT ON COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION COMMITTEE FOR YEAR-2017-18

Competitive examination is the soul of every college. The competitive examination committee has played a crucial role in conducting and guiding the students to shape their career and we have been playing the same role since 2012-13.Sincere efforts have been made earlier to this era to bring the students in the stream of competition and every student has aware that competition has no alternatives and students have to compete to conquer the peak of success. This is the motto of competitive examination committee.

The committee had released a notification regarding the conduction of college level competitive examination AAKANKSHA in November 2017 and Rs.50 was collected from registered candidate each for exam expenditure. The examination was conducted on 7/1/2018; Sunday between10.00 am to 11.00 am carrying 100 marks. The level of syllabus was of State Service Examination conducted by Maharashtra Public Service Commission.  The result was declared on Tuesday, 9/1/2018.There were 92 candidates who registered for the examination. Nearly Rs. 30 was conceded for the examination and remaining 20 rupees were refunded back immediately to the each candidate. The results of the examination were as follows.

A lecture on “Competitive Examination, a Door of Success, has been organised on 22 September 2018 in auditorium hall at 2.00. pm in combination with Study Circle Unit-Yeola. Mr. Shailesh Pandore, an In-charge of study circle unit has given introductory lecture in which he appraised the students regarding the various opportunities through competitive examination and the courses run by his unit and the fee structure of corresponding courses.

A guest lecturer of Study Circle Kopargaon unit has given a key lecture on this subject. He said that, Tukaram Mundhe, a son farmer and teacher can qualify India’s prestigious IAS examination then why may not you. He further added that malpractice has no place in the field of competitive examination and talency as well as sincere efforts have no alternatives. He appraised the students regarding various competitive examinations conducted by State Public Service Commission as well as Union Public Service Commission. He also came across the Banking, Staff Selection Commission and Insurance. He made an important statement that merit list is prepared on the basis of written test and interview and it clearly disclosed in the final result.

In the beginning, Mr.K.K.Jadhav, coordinator of competitive examination gave preface of the programme and In-charge Principal Dr. Rajkumar Datir chaired the function and gave presidential address. Students from F.Y.B.Sc, S.Y.B.Sc and T.Y.B.Sc attended the function. All faculty members including Head of departments and non-teaching staff were present.
