History

The Department of Chemistry was established in 1991, fully granted in 1998-99 Since then the department of Chemistry is active to date. The department is having four granted qualified teaching staff. The necessary lab facilities required for a subject like chemistry are available in the form of two well-equipped labs with chemicals and essential instrumentation facilities. The department conducts various activities for the students like intercollegiate poster competition for UG students, industrial study tours, and encouraged to participate in competitions like CHEMIAD. Our departments has been running various society oriented activities such food adulteration soil analysis. We have signed MOU with Good Drop Wine Celler Pvt. Ltd Vinchur Tal Niphad Dist Nashik and it is alive for four years.  The Department of chemistry has also organized state and national level seminars and conferences to aware students and staff of current research developments. Department is continuously inviting quality guest lectures for UG level to enhance their knowledge in the subject of chemistry. The outcome of these efforts has been obtained through the achievements of our students in state and national level examinations like SET and NET. Our students are actively working in various government and private sectors and improving their lives and contributing to the development of the nation. Our students completed their P.G. and Ph.D. and working in various fields abroad. The department always has a large share of the ruler, economically challenged students who receive a quality education in the ever-developing and in-demand subject of chemistry. The goal of the department is to incorporate values and knowledge related to the subject of chemistry which enables them to sustain and grow in the ever-growing competitive world.
